Sound Warehouse was a Texas based record store chain that actually originated in Oklahoma with a mom & pop record distribution company. In the 80s and 90s, there were over 120 stores. It was a magical time for music, and Sound Warehouse had everything you could want: LPS, Cassettes, CDs, awesome novelties, and a huse video rental center. In the mid 90s, they were bought out by Blockbuster and eventually, the record store chain died, along with all the memories many of us created in the years we worked there.
